Twist the base to swivel up a small amount of the pencil, around one-eighth of an inch. Trace along the upper and/or lower lash line using short, gentle strokes. Use the smudge tool at the opposite end to soften and blend the line within 60 seconds if a smokier effect is desired. Recap firmly after use.
